The Roast Method

Roasted in small batches (<25lbs) in Oregon and Missouri.

Blending four origins with such different densities (from soft Brazilian beans to rock-hard Ethiopian high-altitude beans) requires mastery. We use a specialized heat application that ensures the dense Ethiopian beans fully develop their floral aromatics without scorching the softer Brazilian base. This technical precision creates a harmony that mass-produced blends cannot replicate.

Brewing Recommendations

Focus: The "Golden Ratio".

  • Water Temp: 200°F (Just off the boil). Why: This temperature is the "sweet spot" to extract the toffee sweetness without killing the delicate Ethiopian citrus notes.
  • The Golden Ratio: 1:16 (e.g., 20g coffee to 320g water).
  • Grind: Medium-Fine.
  • Pro Tip: This coffee loves a slow extraction. If doing a Pour Over, try to extend your brew time to 3:00 minutes to pull out the deep cocoa finish.

Impact & Sustainability

This blend represents a global effort. From the heirloom varietals of Ethiopia to the volcanic soils of Guatemala, we maintain direct relationships across four continents. This diversity not only protects against crop failures but ensures we are supporting a wide network of farming communities committed to sustainable quality.
