The Comfort Standard. Precision Processed.

"Brazil" is our control variable for comfort. Sourced from the Cerrado region—famous for its consistent climatic variables—this single origin is a masterclass in reliability.

We utilize the Pulped Natural process for this lot, a technique where the fruit mucilage remains on the bean during drying to force natural sugars into the cellular structure. Visible through our clear-view packaging, you will see the large, uniform screen size of a bean that delivers a heavy, creamy body with zero astringency.

The Roast Method

Roasted in small batches (<25lbs) in Oregon.

Brazilian beans are softer and have lower density than high-altitude African beans. This requires a gentle touch. We use a slow, steady heat curve to extend the caramelization phase (Maillard reaction). This develops those deep Roasted Peanut and Honey notes without burning the sugars, keeping the cup smooth and sweet.

Brewing Recommendations

Focus: Versatility & Espresso.

  • Water Temp: 198°F - 202°F.Why: Slightly cooler water helps keep the nuttiness sweet rather than bitter.
  • Recommended Method: French Press or Espresso.French Press: The metal mesh allows the natural oils (lipids) of the Brazilian bean to pass through, creating a thick, luxurious texture.Espresso: This bean produces massive, tiger-striped crema.
  • Ratio: 1:15 (A slightly stronger ratio highlights the body).

Impact & Sustainability

The Cerrado region is a model of agricultural precision. Its flat terrain allows for systematic care of the coffee trees, ensuring every cherry is harvested at peak ripeness. By sourcing from established farms here, we guarantee a consistent, high-quality cup year-round that supports a stable economy for farm workers.
